    Letterpress & Hot Foil

  • Embossed emblem featuring an arched window with a tower and a building inside, surrounded by a decorative frame.

    Debossing & Embossing

Embossing and debossing add dimensional texture to your printed pieces by pressing a design into the paper, either raised (embossed) or recessed (debossed).

These tactile techniques bring subtle elegance or bold impact to logos, patterns, or type. No ink is necessary, just depth, shadow, and a beautiful impression you can feel.

  • Stacks of blue and green paper currency notes or cards on a table.

    Edge Painting

Edge painting adds a hit of color to thick paper edges—a bold, unexpected detail that makes cards and invites feel sharp, modern, and elevated.

  • Two folded paper bookmarks or cards, one beige with an abstract design and the word 'Mansa' written on it, and the other light blue with a poem titled 'Hope is the thing with feathers' by Emily Dickinson, along with an illustration of a bird.

    Duplexing

Duplexing is the process of bonding two (or more) sheets of paper together to create a thicker, more substantial piece. It’s perfect when you want to add heft to your project or combine different paper colors or textures for contrast. Ideal for business cards, invitations, or anything that needs to feel extra solid in hand.

  • Business cards and promotional cards for The Diller Room, featuring a black background with gold text and logo, and stacked gold-colored business cards on a brown table.

    Guilded Edges

Gilding applies metallic foil to the edges of a stack of paper using heat and pressure, creating a reflective, mirror-like finish that feels both classic and luxurious.

Gold, silver, copper, or custom foil tones catch the light and turn the simplest card or book into something extraordinary.

  • Offset Lithography

Rich spot colors and CMYK builds. Our Heidelberg GTO is up to the test.

Offset printing can accommodate various paper sizes and finishes, allowing for flexibility in design and production. It is a preferred choice for commercial printing applications.

  • Two brochures for the Roux Prize, one dark blue and one white, with embossed circular patterns and text indicating the years 2024, 2023, and 2024.

    Stitching & Paper Drilling

Stitching is a classic binding method where pages are secured with thread or wire, most commonly saddle stitching (staples along the spine) or hand-sewn booklets.

Paper drilling punches clean, round holes through stacks of paper, typically for binding, filing, or custom assembly. Essential for swatch books, tag sets, or any project that needs hardware or rings.

  • Invitation to a celebration event with a sketch of a historic building.

    Engraving

Engraving is a traditional print method where ink is pressed into paper from a metal plate, leaving a raised, crisp impression on the front and a subtle bruise on the back.

Known for its fine detail and timeless elegance, engraving is often used for formal invitations, personal stationery, and projects that call for old-world craftsmanship and prestige.

  • Business card for Horseshoe, featuring a horseshoe symbol with a horse's head, ornate border, and contact information for the store in Seattle.

    Diecutting

Die cutting uses a custom-made blade to cut paper into specific shapes—anything from rounded corners and circles to intricate patterns and custom silhouettes.

It makes packaging pop, business cards stand out, and printed pieces feel truly one-of-a-kind.
